My guilty pleasure is … shopping by myself!

You’ll never find me without … my iPhone.

You might be surprised to know that I …dislike talking on the phone. (strange given the answer above!)

My least favorite chore is … cleaning toilets! Hello ... there are 4 boys in this house!

I started scrapbooking in ... 2002.

My favorite thing about this hobby is ... the creative outlet it provides.

If I were a Pebbles product I would be … the mini letter stickers. They can multitask on a page ... title, sub title, journaling. They do it all, just like all moms!

Nicole created so many amazing projects for us today including this sweet layout about her daughter and her youngest son. Here's what Nicole had to say ... "As soon as I saw that title chipboard sticker I knew I wanted to use this photo with it. My 6 year old daughter and 2 year old son are best buds. She was the "baby" for a few years and I think she really enjoys having a younger sibling to play with now. Or boss around ... not sure which! :) Anyways, I also love the tags and wanted those to be a focal point of the page."

I just started spelling out the kraft words on the kraft background paper without pre-planning too much (which I often do!). I LOVE the Pebbles kraft designs! To add some color I layered some of the chipboard stickers and buttons."

Nicole also created a project to go along with our "inspired by" theme this week. Nicole found inspiration for this layout from one of the shapes available in the Silhouette store. Here's what Nicole had to say ... "This page was initially going to look much different. But as I was looking through my Silhouette library I found the circle/butterfly design and knew I wanted to use it somehow on the page. On a whim I decided to cut it really big to see if it would look neat almost as the background to the page rather than a small accent. And viola ... the page design went a totally different direction."

I was immediately drawn to several of Melissa Phillips' floral, frilly, feminine projects. But, when I saw these cute headbands on a friend’s board, I quickly added them to the stack for future layout ideas. I was inspired to pleat and stitch paper instead of fabric, but I still wanted to add that cute stack of embellishments. So fun!”

Here's what Mel had to say ... "I found this imagine on Pinterest and knew that it was the perfect piece to replicate on a card or project. Pennants are still a very popular design item and I couldn’t wait to incorporate them on my cards. On the Love Forever card I did an exact replica of the image, adding ribbon to the middle to give the card a softer feel. On the Be Mine card, I created a pennant banner, adding different elements from the With Love collection. I hope this inspires you to add some pennants to your projects."

Here's what Laura had to say ... "I stumbled upon this image on Pinterest and was instantly inspired by the circles of the wood. I used my electronic cutting machine to cut out the design on the bottom of my layout, and filled in some of the circles with striped pattern paper, I chose an odd number as it usually looks more pleasing to the eye. I wanted to document my relationship with my oldest son, and the With Love collection was just perfect."

Melinda decided to replace the corks with chocolate (good choice!) and created this delicious treat box instead. Here's what Melinda had to say ... "Inspiration comes from all different places but I will readily admit that Pinterest is a huge source of inspiration rolled into one website and I get lost in there for hours. So, my inspiration this week comes from a cork heart that I spied which gave me the idea to recreate a similar heart using Hershey's Kisses. After careful consideration I decided to place the heart inside a box card for my husband with Valentine's Day just around the corner... that's if the chocolates last that long, he he!"

Sneak Peek Week: Crystal Candy Dots

It's been a full week of reveals, hasn't it? We hope you liked our three new collections. We sure do!

"Nothing like a good sketch to make a scrapbook page come together quickly! I used once again, the With Love Collection to create these everyday moments of my daughter. I wanted to create a quirky page with lots of personality, just like my little Macie!"

Sneak Peek Week: Hip Hip Hooray

Our Winter 2012 reveals continue today with another line we're sure you'll love: Hip Hip Hooray!

Whip It Up Wednesday

Design team member Stephanie Baxter put together this trio of frames in less than 30 minutes! Here's what Steph had to say ... "My brother has just recently bought his own flat and moved out, so I wanted to make him a little house-warming gift, and preferably something that he could hang on the wall. I was so thrilled I managed to whip these 3 pieces of wall art in less than 30 minutes! I cut 2 pieces of cardstock and 1 piece of patterned paper to fit the frames (super cheap from Ikea!) and decorated them with lots of butterflies (various Pebbles embellishments and punched shapes from patterned paper) as his fiancee, who will be moving in when they get married next year, absolutely loves butterflies! This is a great project to try if you're a bit short of time but want to give a lovely, handmade gift ... maybe bear it in mind for Christmas next year! I definitely think I'll be making some more of these!"

Sneak Peek Week: Country Picnic

It's that time again, to reveal the latest and greatest from Pebbles Inc. We have three lines for Winter 2012, and the first we've decided to share with all of you is Country Picnic.

Picture a sunny afternoon lying in the grass sipping sugary lemonade and you've got the feel of Country Picnic. Rosy pinks, sage greens and a heavenly light kraft combine into a lovely collection blooming with florals, polka dots and stripes.

There are 12 double-sided papers to play with, six of which feature that light kraft we mentioned.

Paper is just the start of Country Picnic. There are lots of ABC Stickers in several colors and fonts, and some are textured corrugate. (So great!) Plus there are masking tape and dimensional stickers for that extra pop. Don't forget about the clear stamps, adorable dimensional flowers and, new to the group, layered kraft tags.

How To Tuesday

Today design team member Christa Paustenbaugh shows us a fun technique using the Silhouette and one of her favorite embellishments from our Fresh Goods collection. here's what Christa had to say ... "There is a lot of talk all around the scrapbook community about the Silhouette and now the Silhouette Cameo. I know not everyone has a Silhouette so today's How To can be made with the die cut machine, but can also be made without it too! I love the Pebbles Fresh Goods butterfly image through Silhouette and decided to make it my embellishment focus on this layout."

First, open the butterfly image in Silhouette and sizing it rather large.

After the first one was cut I sized it just a bit larger (about 1/2" all around) and cut out a second butterfly as backing for the first one. I wanted the top butterfly to stand out so I cut strips of Fresh Goods papers to 1/4" wide and adhered them to the butterfly side by side. Let them hang over on the butterfly because the trimming will come next!

I just took my scissors and carefully trimmed around the butterfly to cut off the excess paper strips. I adhered it to the larger butterfly then used foam adhesive to raise it a bit from the cardstock.

If you don't have a Silhouette it's still easy to re-create the butterfly. Simply do a search for a butterfly image, download it, size it to your liking and cut it out on cardstock.

This is a very easy way to use up paper scraps and add a nice embellishment to your layout or card.

First up, design team member Laura Craigie created this simply adorable layout about the three little men in her life. Here's what Laura had to say ... "When deciding on what products to use on this layout I started with the picture and decided I wanted to pull out the blues, and reds. That made an easy choice to use the New Addition boy's line, and pair it with Fresh Goods. I had a lot of fun cutting things out on my silhouette with Kraft cardstock to tie the whole thing together."

You’ll never find me without … A notebook to jot down ideas or my "to do" list.

You might be surprised to know that I … I don't have ears pierced. I did at one time, but I didn't like it. I'm not a big fan of jewelry, especially when I'm paper crafting.

My least favorite chore is … Any chore that takes me away from my creative time.

I started scrapbooking in ... 1997 when my sister took me took my first class at a Pebbles scrapbook store.

My favorite thing about this hobby is ... I can convey my heart-felt feelings to those I love and they will always have a record of those feelings.

If I were a Pebbles product I would be … A clothespin: cute and tiny (or I inspire to be both of those things.)

Jen created so many amazing projects for us today including this love themed layout about her daughter. Here's what Jen had to say ... " I wanted to focus on someone I love so I chose to create this layout about my 15 year old daughter, Katelyn. Like the card and envelope project, I filled the envelope with patterned paper and then added hearts "exploding" out of the envelope. Little details like ribbons with notched or diagonally cut ends make this layout completely feminine."

It makes me think of picnics, family reunions, flower gardens, and family. For this layout, I cut several of the patterned paper end strips into long banner strips and layered them on both sides of my photo. For something different I layered my title vertically rather than horizontally."

Here's what Jen had to say about her final project ... "I'm a sucker for cute envelope shapes and the envelopes in this collection completely inspired this project. I added a patterned paper insert inside the envelope, then decorated the outside with a twist tie and a chipboard sticker. I then created a small square card that would easily fit inside the card. I love all the extra embellishments in this collection which make creating fun and easy."

Design team member Jill Cornell created a double page layout with lots of photos to tell the story of her twin daughters' Christmas experiences this year. Here's what Jill had to say ... " I love creating double page layouts when I have a lot of photos to tell a particular story. Christmas is the perfect occasion to share a lot of photos, and I used the Welcome Christmas collection to showcase photos of one of our Christmas gatherings this year. I created a collage of wallet size photos (10 of them) and then chose one photo that I wanted to highlight and made that the focal point of the layout. When I create two-page layouts, I enjoy creating a large design element that supports the focal point photo. Here I created a Christmas tree using punched circles from patterned paper and rhinestones. A portion of a border sticker anchors the tree. I also carried the title across the page with the use of a border sticker."

Design team member Gretchen McElveen uses a double page spread to document the joy of meeting a new sibling. Here's what Gretchen had to say ... "Sometimes when it comes to double-page layouts, simplicity is best! If I am making a 2-pager, it probably means I have lots of pictures to use and lots of journaling that I want to do. That doesn't always leave a lot of room for embellishing. On this layout (of one of my best friends and her kiddos), I didn't have too much journaling but I did have several pictures to use and I really wanted to do that long title. The New Addition boy and girl lines were perfect for the look I wanted to create with this layout. To make sure my pictures stood out, I matted them on white cardstock and added photo corners to some of them. Then I kept the embellishments to a minimum so my layout didn't look too busy! Voila! A simple 2-pager!"

Design team member Valerie Mangan's double page layout makes me ache for summer's warmer weather and time spent down at the Jersey shore. Here's what Valerie had to say ... "Two page layouts are a great way to showcase many photos from a single event. This page features 10 photos plus a few extras in the little pocket behind the ‘nj’. I used a summer mix of patterns from several lines to create my page border which frames the white space. (I tried to pull my colors from the beach chair in the photos). The random border strips cross over the page breaks to unite the 2 separate pages. My journaling is on a border strip under the photos that also spans the page break."

"This layout was inspired by the larger picture of my two boys, which was taken on New Year's Day of 2011. I wanted to get it scrapped before the year ended. Then, I thought why not use it for a Year In Review layout. I picked a favorite picture from each month of the year, turned them black and white and printed them out. I had intended to block the photos, but when they came out of the printer they looked like negative strips. I went with the idea and love the happy accident!"

"When I normally do a 2 page layout I put the pages flush together and make it one big continuous layout. This time I decided to divide it up a bit, almost like 2 separate layouts. I'm in love with those masking tape stickers and they were perfect for this layout about my daughters and their bond with their cousin from Germany. I then used the Silhouette to cut a journaling shape and just made it a bit bigger for a mat behind it. Very simple!"

"It had been a while since I created a double pager, this time around I decided to try out a smaller version of the traditional double layout, and the size of my layout is 11x17, which I much preferred! I love the textured background to which I added random punched out circles. Some of these circles feature tiny hearts, which are the punched out hearts from the With Love tag, this is great way to use supplies. The tags are adorable, I couldn’t leave the hearts unused. Even though this layout is about Love, I used non-traditional love colors which better suited the pictures. I hope this inspires you to create a double page layout."

Design team member Wendy Sue Anderson created this boyishly sweet double page layout about her son's love for popsicles! Here's what Wendy had to say ... "My youngest son is a HUGE popsicle fan and he will eat ask for them even if it’s snowing outside. He especially loves otter pops…and if he can eat two flavors at the same time, he is in popsicle heaven! I’ve had these photos for a while, just waiting for the right paper combo to use to scrap them … as I was organizing some of my Pebbles products, I realized the blue and green in the “Ever After” line would work perfectly. It doesn’t matter that the line is primarily meant for girls – as there is a lot of pink/princess-y in the line as well … I simply left out the pink, combined some browns from other lines and put together a perfectly acceptable boyish combination!"

"I love the soft pinks, browns, and creams in the New Addition 2011 collection, which I think are perfect colors for creating cards for any occasion. "Every New Year I’m always reminded of friends of mine with whom I might have lost touch with a bit over the past year and always try to make an effort to regain a bit of contact to check in with them and see how they’re doing. This year I thought it might be a nice idea to make some everyday cards specifically for the purpose, which I can send to friends to get in touch. I mixed various favourite products of mine from the With Love, Fresh Goods and New Arrival Girl lines to create these fun, feminine cards. I love including a bit of dimension on all my projects, so I made sure to use foam tabs to adhere one element to each card and make it pop.”

I love using those sticky notes to dress up a layout in quick and easy way. Here I punched one adhesive (light blue one) note with my punch to give a bit more "decorative" feel."

Today design team member Eva Pizarro shows us how to take those adorable Pebbles brads and create some "off the page" projects. Here's what Eva had to say ... "I love the different type of brads from all of the different collections. And there are so many fun things you can do with them! Today I wanted to show you how to create a simple pair of earings and some hair pins using some glue and your favorite Pebbles brads."

To create the earrings just select your favorite brad (I used one from The Mr. & Mrs. collection) and remove the back with some tweezers.

Clean the back and use a string glue to attach a flat earring piece.

You can use the same technique to create some bobby pins! WIth a wire cutter cut off the back of the brad.

And attach it to a bobby pin using a strong clear glue.

Super easy! Now you just have to create a card and send them to someone special!

Here's what Pearl had to say ... "My 16 year old girl is will be staying in her high school hostel this year as part of a year long residential program . Guest Designer: Becky Williams and a GIVEAWAY!

Hi everyone! I am so excited to introduce you to this week's Guest Designer Becky Williams. Let's get to know Becky a little better ...

Describe yourself in 3 words … loyal, witty (when I want to be, my husband says), determined.

My guilty pleasure is … chocolate, without a doubt, especially Nutella or a tall hazelnut hot chocolate.

You’ll never find me without … my camera. Not very often, anyway. My husband and kids are very used to having a lens in their faces at any random moment, but I am so glad that they have pictures of so many things we've done as a family. The kids love to look at our scrapbooks and laugh at all of the old pictures.

You might be surprised to know that I … am not the best housekeeper. I do try but I would rather spend time with my family and scrap those memories than have a spotless house. The dishes and laundry can wait once in a while.

My least favorite chore is … putting away laundry. I don't mind the washing and drying and folding but it always seems to take a while for me to get it all put away.

I started scrapbooking in ... jr. high school with pictures of friends and pictures of celebrities I cut out of teen magazines. My mom is a graphic designer so I guess you could say that it's in my blood! I was on the yearbook staff in high school and it all evolved into what I do today. So, I have been scrapping off and on for about 20 years and still love it!

My favorite thing about this hobby is ... being creative and getting to know people from all over the world.

If I were a Pebbles product I would be …the cute stitched paper butterflies from the Fresh Goods line. I love 'em!

Becky created so many amazing projects for us today including this sweet layout about her littlest princess. Here's what Becky had to say ... "On this page I used the cute new With Love kraft gift tags; the little punch outs were so fun to use and add right onto the pictures and I used one at the top right behind the picture collage. I also used some of the masking tape stickers to help adhere the toothpick flags. I love stamps but don't use them as much as I would like so I wanted to find a way to use one of the cute With Love stamps on this page and was able to incorporate that into the title of this layout. The With Love collection has such a fun mix of embellishments!"

Here's what Becky had to say about her next project ... "One thing that I love about scrapbooking is being able to document the everyday moments in my life. It's the little things that we often forget but it seems that those are the things that make us smile most when we look back on them. My baby girl is growing and changing so fast that I wanted to capture this little thing - her drooling all of the time and getting her first two teeth this month. The colors in the Fresh Goods line went so well with the colors on my daughter's shirt so I wanted to show them off by using strips of many of the papers in the collection. It's a great way to add color but not overwhelm the picture, which I wanted to be the focus of my page. I also LOVE to mix up fonts and colors on my pages as you can see here."

And finally here's what Becky had to say about her last project ... "While the twist ties are so cute and perfect for adorning treat bags I thought they would also be fun to use on this card. I used a couple of different ones here, a striped one and one with hearts and simply cut them to the length I needed and adhered them to the card. I punched out the "love" letters on the kraft tag and then put a piece of patterned paper on the back to add a bit more color."

Design team member Valerie Mangan modified the sketch to fit her one large photo as opposed to several smaller photos. Here's what Valerie had to say ... "While this sketch was inspiring me to use wallet-sized photos I didn't have a set of 3 either vertically or horizontally oriented. I got around that by using 1 large horizontal photo in place of the row of 3 smaller ones, then 2 detail shots in place of the vertical tree element. I used a mix of Fresh Goods and Floral Lane for this page which was perfect for the story of our Fall pumpkin picking outing."

Whip It Up Wednesday

Design team member Pearl Liu shares some step by step instructions to create these adorable Post It Note holders that can be whipped up in 30 minutes or less. Here's what Pearl had to say ... "I was still in need of last minute Christmas gifts and decided to whip up these post-it-note holders when I found a few stacks of Post It Notes on hand."

And here are the step by step instructions:

Trim chosen cardstock to 7.5 x 3.5 inches.
Score at 3.5 and 4 inches in along the sides that are 7.5 inches. This is easiest to do with either a scoring tool (e.g., Martha Stewart's Score Board) or a paper trimmer with scoring blade.
Fold at score marks, up and over, and the basic structure is completed.
Take a stack of post it notes and glue to the bottom of the holder.
From here, it's really up to you how you want to decorate your holder.

How To Tuesday

Design team member Ashley Stephens shares a fun technique with us today for creating your own Christmas Advent calendar. Here's what Ashley had to say ... "I know a lot of you are probably doing a December Daily album to document your holiday, myself included. I also wanted to have those memories in my regular album so I came up with this neat way to provide a little snapshot of Christmas - a scrapbook page advent calendar! You'll be able to capture a quick overview of the holiday without the stress of scrapping full pages of each event." Ashley shares her step by step instructions for creating this fun holiday page below.

Here's what you'll need to get started:

Welcome Christmas Papers and Embellishments
Cardstock (any color)
Small Photos
Mini Glue Dots

First, you'll need to plan how many photos you want to include and divide your page into a grid so you'll know what size to use. I chose 12 photos - it was a nice, even number and I was able to include a large space for a title. I decided my photos would be 2" x 2" so I wanted my advent window boxes to be 2.25" x 2.25" that way I had a nice mat around the photos.

Then, you'll take the cardstock you have chosen and cut it into strips. You'll want them to be the same height as your photos (plus any extra for a mat, like I did) and double the width. So, my strips were cut to 2.25" x 4.5". I made 6 of them and 6 just 2.25" x 2.25" so I'll have a mix of windows and just photos.

Next, you'll want to score them down the center and fold them over. You can use a scoring board like I have or just fold them regularly.

Now you'll add your photo to the right side of the strip and journaling (if you want) on the left. And last, embellish the front of the window. I've added Pebbles border stickers down each one to unify them, put dimensional stickers on some, numbered them, and included candy button dots for handles.

If you want your windows to stay closed like mine, you can use a mini glue dot. I take them between by fingers and sort of smash them a bit, just to get rid of most of the sticky. That way, you'll be able to open and close it repeatedly, without it becoming stuck permanently. You can also skip this step, especially if you'll be putting it into a page protector. See, that WAS easy, wasn't it?

"I've seen a lot of images with a red and turquoise colour scheme recently, particularly on Pinterest, and I've always thought that particular colour combination looks so cute! So I decided to go with that colour scheme on my layout about my love and excitement for my new iPad. "I've been working on a plan for my Christmas cards this year to make my life a little easier as I've found in recent years that coming up with different cards for each person is almost impossible and I usually end up buying some to fill the gaps. This season I decided to have just a few designs and alternate the patterned papers to create a different look for each card. And I must say it has been so much easier. "You might have noticed that December Daily Albums are popping up all over the web, I love the idea of a December Daily Album but between work, family and everything else I just don’t have the time to do a Christmas related activity on a daily basis, therefore I decided to make a condensed version, which highlights events and activities we are doing throughout the Holiday Season. I kept this album simple so I could quickly put a page together in 20 minutes or less. The embellish page was very easy to create, simply use a page protector, cut to size, insert the embellishments and stitch edges. I thought this was a perfect way to showcase the wonderful embellishments of the Welcome Christmas collection. I hope this inspires you to create your very own version of a December Daily. Design team member Suzanne Sergi documented one of her family's favorite holiday traditions on this sweet layout. Here's what Suzanne had to say ... "One of our favorite family traditions is writing letters to Santa. I am still lucky enough to have little ones that still believe in Santa Claus. We usually visit him at his famous place, "the mall", and then come home so the children can write their letters. This ensures that everything is still fresh on Santa's mind. I used the Welcome Christmas collection to document these photos of Macie. I am glad I was able to capture a bit of her handwriting in the process. I used two of the patterned papers on my page, and since this page was about a Santa's letter, I used an envelope on the page. The children do not know, but I keep their letters, and Macie's letter is safely tucked away in the envelope. Love the dimensional stickers from Pebbles. The felt holly, and the Christmas Memories sticker were perfect embellishments to finish the page."

"Every year I always make a Christmas wish list with some things on it that I know I'll never get! I guess it's just a 'in an ideal world' kind of list! For the past couple of years, I've started documenting these lists as scrapbook pages so I thought I'd carry on the tradition again this year. The goodies from the Welcome Christmas line are, of course, perfect for it! I did an 8x8 page for this - I have been experimenting with this size recently and I love it! I love the fact that my list is the dominant feature of this layout and takes up a lot of space on the page."

How To Saturday!

Hey everyone! Today we have a very special Saturday edition of our usual "How To Tuesday" blog post. Design team member Jill Cornell shares a fun technique for creating a custom Christmas tree embellishment for your holiday layouts. Here's what Jill had to say ... "One of the traditions we have at my house is to buy the girls new Christmas-themed pajamas. Christmas is one of my favorite holidays to scrapbook, and the Welcome Christmas collection makes it easy to create bright, fun, whimsical layouts. I have a simple tutorial to share with you today on how to make a large Christmas tree from patterned paper that serves as the focal point of the design on my layout."

To get started, cut several strips of patterned paper in 1/2", 3/4" and 1" increments.

Cut ribbon notches on either end of the patterned paper and ink edges.

Cut each strip slightly smaller than the rest so that the strips stack and form the Christmas tree.

Once all the strips are cut, adhere to layout using foam adhesive on every other strip.

Punch a large star from patterned paper.

Insert a fabric brad in center of star and adhere with foam adhesive.

And here's the finished layout again! I just tucked my larger photo between a couple of the strips to help ground it to the page.

"I put a little twist on the traditional tree shape to create a Santa that anyone could love and add to their holiday home decor! I covered a foam cone (tree shape) with various patterned papers and cardstock and then embellished Santa's hat and face with embellishments from the Welcome Christmas collection. It was easy to create Santa's beard, mustache and top of his hat with hot glue and cotton balls."

I used the Welcome Christmas line to make a couple of little gift card holders for this year. They are so easy to make, and the teachers always love them! Simply cut a piece of 12x12 paper in half (or a little smaller. On these I cut at 5.5 inches). Fold the paper and then sew (or glue) the sides. Embellish to your heart's content!"

Every family has special holiday foods they look forward to, right? I thought it would be fun to decorate a recipe box and fill it with some of our favorite family recipes. Embellishing the box was a snap with the adorable Pebbles Welcome Christmas collection. The cards were fun and easy, too. I printed the recipes then added a strip of paper and some border stickers (I wanted the cards to remain flat). Lastly, I stamped the cute little flower in pale ink to add some texture. "Although these pictures of my son heading off to school with his classmates' Valentines in hand are a little dark and grainy, I was so grateful that my husband thought to take them for me while I was at work and I still wanted to document this sweet memory. By printing the pictures in wallet size, I was able to minimize their poor quality a little. The small pictures also left a lot of room on my page for me to embellish, so I filled it with three layered, dangling hearts cut from my die cut machine."

Describe yourself in 3 words … happy, creative & thoughtful.

My guilty pleasure is … three layer chocolate cake sprinkled with chopped nuts & topped with vanilla bean ice cream with drizzles of chocolate syrup.

You’ll never find me without … my 60D & lip gloss.

You might be surprised to know that … this year my be the first year that I don't plan on Black Friday shopping. As much as I enjoy the rush of it all & the good deals, my shopping will be done online this year, in my jammies.

My least favorite chore is … ironing 1st & putting away laundry 2nd.

I started scrapbooking in ... 2003, 9 months after my son was born.

My favorite thing about this hobby is ... the satisfaction of creating with my hands, being with friends who enjoy the hobby as much as I do & the excitement of new product that some how finds it way into my studio & onto my pages.

If I were a Pebbles product I would be … I can never get enough of the Dimensional Butterflies.

Cindy created so many amazing projects for us today including this fun self-portrait layout. Here's what Cindy had to say ... "I got a little snap happy while trying on clothes. I just loved everything I had picked out to see how they would all fit. This particular shirt was a favorite. I just love the delicate ruffled layered fabric pieces on this shirt & how the shirt looked on me. This was a lucky shot, aim & shoot & hope it's a good one kind of photo. I love how the photo turned out & thought it would be perfect to use as the background for my page. I printed the large photo onto white cardstock for a canvas look and embellished around it with a variety of stickers, dimensional embellishments, two tiny photos & machine stitching for more added texture. Super simple!"

Here's what Cindy had to say about her next project ... "I really love loading up my layouts with lots of small photos. As soon as I saw the clothes pins embellishments, I knew I had to create a clothes line affect with lots of photos. Once I decided on the background & after tucking one side of each twine behind the layered border, I machine stitched to keep the twin from moving, then hung each photo with a clothes pin & added pop dots for dimension. I like how the colors and textures come together with the illusion of hanging photos giving it a bit of a whimsical look."

Here's what Cindy had to say about her next project ... "Ever since I entered into the 40 something club, I have been trying to set goals for myself. I'm on a journey of trying and completing those goals and wanted to document each of them in a journal. So, I cut out lots & lots of cardstock & pattern papers to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" & bounded them together, with plenty of room to grow. Each of the pages are left blank so when I am ready to add to it, I can write & embellish as I go along. It will be fun look back at everything I have aspired to do."

"Last year during the month of November I documented all things I was grateful for each day. This particular photo was snapped on the 17th by my daughter, who at the time was 3 1/2 years old & the journaling was pulled from my blog. I loved the colors and textures of the paper so much I had to use my Silhouette machine to cut out leaves to go along with the fall theme. Out of all the photos of me that day, this was one of two that was not blurry, but with my eyes looking away from the camera - to balance out the layout, I embellished the page with the die-cut leaves that kinda give a floating affect."

"For our focus on the "grateful" theme this week, I chose to put together an album of some of the things I am thankful for in my life. "November is National Adoption Month so I knew that for "I'm Grateful" week that I needed to share more about the gift that I'm most thankful for - my two beautiful daughters through the gift of adoption! While not a perfect photo, this is the only one we have of my husband and me together on the day we got to meet our twin girls for the very first time. Design team member Suzanne Sergi created the perfect home decor piece to show how grateful she is for her family and many blessings. Here's what Suzanne had to say ... "With Thanksgiving around the corner, I decided to alter this picture frame for the kitchen. Every day we should remember to be grateful for all the blessings in our lives. Thanksgiving is the perfect time as a family to reflect with one another, and to celebrate this joyous occasion. This frame uses the Fresh Goods collection. I wanted to use this colorful collection, and added in some burlap fabric to round out the background. This collection has a homespun feel to it, and would be perfect for packaging treats and baked breads. This happy frame will sit out on the kitchen counter as we anticipate Thanksgiving, and each day a "new" memory will be clipped onto the mini clothespin."

Design team member Stephanie Baxter created a gift box and coordinating tag using Pebbles products perfect for saying "thank you" to friends or family. Here's what Stephanie had to say ... "I love filling little gift boxes with little sweet treats for people as a quick thank you gift and when I came across this heart gift box template from A Little Hut (http://alittlehut.com/) I thought that it would be perfect to use with some of my favourite Pebbles products! I printed the template directly on to one side of the patterned paper, cut it out and stuck it together with some strong liquid glue. I stamped a sentiment on to a little tag using the Floral Lane alphabet stamps and tied some baker's twine from the New Addition ribbon card at the top of the tag. This was relatively quick and easy to make, so I can definitely see myself making a bunch more as little thank you gifts for people."

Today it's my turn to share a few projects that I (Lynn Ghahary) created using the Pebbles shapes for Silhouette. First let me just say that I LOVE my Silhouette. Seriously love it! It's so easy to use and just allows for so many possibilities. For my first project I altered a picture frame that I had in my stash using papers from the New Addition Boy collection. The photo is of my sweet little nephew Kian - isn't he an angel? Once I had my frame covered I cut a tag shape using the Silhouette and kraft cardstock. I then cut the adorable whale shape with some blue patterned paper and layered it on my tag with dimensional adhesive. I added a Dimensional Sticker for the perfect finishing touch.

Design team member Wendy Sue Anderson created the perfect home decor project just in time for the holidays using Pebbles for Silhouette images and the Welcome Christmas collection. Here's what Wendy had to say ... "I’m already getting excited to pull out my Christmas decorations, but my family thinks I should wait until after Thanksgiving … so I decided to make a little holiday project, just to satisify my holiday “itch.” :) I found this little frame in my stash of alterables and I knew it would be perfect for a little Christmas project! I love the simple Christmas tree shape from the Silhouette store, so I decided to use those for my project. I cut it out several different times, in several different sizes, from a handful of different papers. Again, I love how versatile one little shape can be – well worth the 99 cent investment! After cutting out several trees, I decorated them with various embellishments. I used foam squares to add dimension to a few of the trees too. After the trees were complete, I added some fun elements to the frame and now it’s sitting on my sofa table – mixed right in with my Thanksgiving decorations!"

Here's what Wendy had to say about her next project ... "I’ve never really been a huge fan of pastel pink and blue for babies. I don’t know why … but it’s the truth. I decided to use some primary colors to create a set of baby cards to have on hand. The elephant shape is from the baby collections, but I used papers from the Fresh Goods collection for a fun twist. I love being able to take one shape and cut it out in the size I want, and from the paper I want. This one elephant shape could be used in so many different ways, I’m already thinking of more projects I can make with him!"

Design team member Christa Paustenbaugh shows us how easy it is to scrap those holiday memories using the Pebbles for Silhouette images. Here's what Christa had to say ... "I normally have so much trouble scrapping holiday photos since I'm not great at it, but the Silhouette/Pebbles shapes were too fun to pass up! I cut 2 different tag shapes big enough to house my 3 x 3 photos on them. I made those the main focus of the layout as if to decorate the page for the holidays. I also cut the "Happy Holidays" sentiment out, but chose to only use the Holiday from it. It was very easy to cut apart for use on my page. With just a few added embellishments the page was made with primarily the Silhouette images!"

I cut out 4 smaller trees, then just sized up for the red tree to make it stand out. I cut a smaller one out of the red paper, then just sized up a wee bit to cut the green paper thread image. I cut away the paper "thread" and replaced it with some twine to finish it off. I'm pretty sure I'll be using this image again soon!"

Here's what Valerie had to say about her first project ... "I made this little mini book to replace my December Daily album this year. Knowing I will be very pressed for time next month, I decided I'd focus on a few details of the holiday season rather than 25 straight days. I used Pebbles Silhouette shapes to cut the tags, then backed them with a selection of papers from the Welcome Christmas line. I supplemented the tags with some small envelopes I made, also with papers from the Welcome Christmas line. In addition to adding extra pages to my little book, the envelopes will be used to save small items like receipts, lists and ticket stubs. I made sure some of the tags have space for small photos and included some pre-made list forms to fill in details I'll want to record."

Here's what Valerie had to say about her next project ... "This simple grid layout was a great way to show off some more of Pebble's shapes for the Silhouette. I loved the idea of filling 2 of the squares with die cut elements. I used die cut trees in one square with White Candy Dot button 'snow' and the sentiment "home" in another. I used the negative cut of the sentiment and backed it with some white cardstock. To add a little more interest to the grid, I added a couple of the graphic poinsettia shapes and one of the Fresh Goods inspired frames."
