Before we get into the tutorial, I'm excited to announce the winner of a Pebbles layered embellishment set from last week's Product Parade post. Congratulations Sassette! Be sure to send your full name, mailing address and phone number (for shipping purposes) to pebblesincdt(at)gmail(dot)com and put "Layered Embellishments Winner" in the subject line.
I know it's not yet Thanksgiving, but it never hurts to get a jump-start on Christmas decor ideas, right? Today we have a How-To from Anna Sigga on star ornaments made from Pebbles paper and embellishments. Here's what Anna had to say: "I love making Holiday decoration using my scrapbook supplies and these stars are really fun and easy to make."
Step 1. Trace a star pattern on the backside of your pattern paper. You can draw your own stars or look for templates via Google (I used Google).
Step 2. Cut the patterned paper and you will have your basic star shape.
Step 3. Next score from each point of the star to the center on the other side. I marked the score lines with numbers.
Step 4. Fold all the five score lines accordion like and your star will be in 3-D. Ink the edges (if you like) and embellish away.
