Theme: Fabulous Fall!

Here in the Northeast the leaves have changed colors and begun to fall from the trees while the smell of apple cider and pumpkin pie tickle the senses.  Fall is definitely in the air.  This week on the Pebbles blog we are celebrating fall in all of its fabulous glory as some of our design team members create projects with a fall theme. 

Design team member Mandie Pierce had me giggling with her earnest letter to the state of California to bring a little fall to that side of the country.  And those hand cut and stitched leaves?  Perfection!  Here's what Mandie had to say ... "I love fall!  I wish we had more of a fall season here in the area of California where I live!  (the photo was taken at Yosemite National Park a couple of years ago!)  For this layout, I combined pattern papers from Fresh Goods and Floral Lane.  To make the leaves, I free hand cut a few from pattern papers.  I then used a paper piercer and thread to embellish them a little!"

Design team member Kim Kesti also lives on the west coast and created this layout about her son's experience of fall in Arizona.  I love the punched circle tree complete with grassy knoll and hanging sign to house her journaling.  Here's what Kim had to say ... “Fall is a little bit different here in Arizona. It’s actually the time we start planting flowers! But, we still enjoy cooler weather and little boys in cute hats. I’ve wanted to make a layout with a tree for a long time; it was so easy with all the coordinating papers from the Fresh Goods collection. I simply used two sizes of circle punches and ink the edges of each circle to further unify them. I added a few stitched accents on my layout and hung a little sign for my journaling. Enjoy fall!”
