Theme: Back To School with Pebbles
Happy Monday! Whether your children have been in school for several weeks or just a few days (like mine) now is the perfect time to head back to school with Pebbles. All this week on the Pebbles blog we will be sharing projects with a school theme created by some of our talented design team members. While Pebbles does not have a specific school themed collection I think you'll find that Pebbles papers and products are perfect for this occasion. So take out those notebooks and sharpen your pencils as we inspire you to head back to school - Pebbles style! And who knows there just might be a little something in store for the teacher's pet at the end of the week! ;)
Design team member Aphra Bolyer created this sweet back to school layout about her boys' school bus adventures. Here's what Aphra had to say ... "As soon as I saw the theme for this week, I knew that I wanted to use Fresh Goods. The primary colors are perfect for my boys' back-to-school pictures. The grid design allowed me to use lots of pics as well as patterned papers and embellishments."

Design team member Christa Paustenbaugh created this school themed gift set perfect for back to school gift giving. Here's what Christa had to say ... "I've said it before and will say it again that I'm definitely not a card and altered project scrapper. However, when I saw a template for a pencil card I thought I would give it a whirl! This was hand's down one of the easiest cards and projects I've done to date and I highly recommend it when it comes time for teacher gifts for you kids' school. Fresh Goods, New Addition Girl and Mr. & Mrs. combined nicely for the pencil card. I bought the jar at my local craft store, then just used circle punches and an apple punch to embellish the top. I hand stitched around the tag punch to make it pop a little more then easily attached it with spooled ribbon. Very, very easy!"

Design team member Kim Kesti created a pair of gift card holders using the Fresh Goods collection. Here's what Kim had to say ... “With two kids in grade school, I was inspired to create several gift card holders for those special folks who teach and encourage my 5th and 7th graders with so much patience. I tucked the actual gift cards into a glassine envelope and stitched them shut with a zig-zag stitch. (This will make them fun to open!) Using the Fresh Goods collection made decorating the envelopes a breeze. Happy Back to School!”
