Today is a big day here on the Pebbles blog as we officially welcome our brand new 2011 - 2012 Pebbles Design Team! Over the next few weeks we will be introducing each of our new design team members along with sharing their first "official" projects as part of the team. We've asked each of our design team members a few questions and to create a project that defines their scrapbooking style as a way to get to know each team member a little better both personally and creatively.
First let me introduce myself. My name is Lynn Ghahary and I live in New Jersey with my husband and high school sweetheart Salar and our two wild and crazy boys, Darian and Brandon. I was first introduced to the wonderful world of scrapbooking way back in 2000. I took a break from scrapbooking in 2004 when my first son was born and didn't really come back to the hobby until 2008. Now that I'm back I am here to stay and have been completely in awe at how far this amazing craft has come since we first "met" over 10 years ago! In addition to scrapbooking I am also an avid gardener, bookworm, and wannabe photographer. I am also a self-professed reality TV show junkie and organzing diva. I am thrilled to be on board as the Design Team Coordinator and Blog Hostess for Pebbles Inc for another year!
Describe yourself in 3 words … creative, trustworthy, dependable.
My guilty pleasure is … LOTS and LOTS of reality TV.
You’ll never find me without … my watch. I feel lost without it.
Growing up I … wanted to be a lawyer and would watch the People's Court incessantly.
You might be surprised to know that I … despise feet. Seriously. I think they're ugly. Except my two little boys' feet. I love those!
My least favorite chore is … cleaning toilets. Two little boys + not very good aim = Enough said. ;)
I started scrapbooking in . . . 2000. Although I took a break from 2004 - 2008 after my boys were born. I literally went so far as to sell all of my supplies on eBay but the allure of pretty paper brought me back. ;)
My favorite this about this hobby is . . . I love that I can preserve my families memories while doing something I truly love and enjoy.
If I were a Pebbles product I would be . . . patterned paper - cheerful and versatile. That's me! :)
For this layout I decided to focus on the Floral Lane collection. I snapped these photos of my sweet niece Gia on Easter morning and the pink in her dress was an exact match to the pink in this collection. I love using a grid design on my layouts - it's an easy way to add lots of photos as well as patterned paper without overwhelming the overall look of my page.

Wendy Sue Anderson lives in Herber City, Utah with her husband and their four beautiful children. Wendy Sue has been scrapbooking as far back as "forever." She can still remember the first day she walked through the doors of Pebbles In My Pocket (the origin of Pebbles Inc) in Orem, Utah nearly 15 years ago. While Wendy Sue loves to play with cute product, she loves telling the stories behind the photos on her scrapbook pages even more so. Wendy Sue is one of our returning design team members and we are thrilled to have her on board for another year.
Describe yourself in 3 words . . . loyal, busy, procrastinator.
My guilty pleasure is . . . a fresh raspberry shake on a warm summer evening or chocolate any time!
You’ll never find me without . . . I don’t know- maybe my camera.
You might be surprised to know that I . . . can’t sleep without socks on my feet.
My least favorite chore is . . . cleaning toilets.
I started scrapbooking in . . . my childhood (a VERY long time ago).
My favorite thing about this hobby is . . . recording stories, saving memories, being creative.
If I were a Pebbles product I would be . . . patterned paper – subtle and beautiful!
Here's what Wendy Sue had to say about her layout ... "We recently had some family photos taken by a local photographer and friend. I was so excited when we got the photos back – and now I can’t get enough of them. I’ve already framed them, scrapbooked them, and even ordered a canvas for my home! Sometimes when you’re scrapbooking photos that were taken solely for the purpose of taking a photo, there’s not a story to tell. Ironically, these layouts actually usually end of being some of my favorite pages – because they are the ones with journaling from the heart. I just start writing down whatever the photo makes me think of and sharing whatever feelings the photo evokes. This time, I wrote about how important my family is to me – and how I need to remind myself every single day that they are really the ONLY things that matter. The Fresh Goods line is perfect for these fun family photos – I love the primary colors and the cute designs too!"
