Design team member Christa Paustenbaugh is a military wife who is constantly on the move with her husband and best friend and their 2 beautiful little drama queens! Currently calling the DC suburbs home, Christa is a school social worker and avid runner (she just began training for her very first marathon!). Apart from scrapbooking, Christa also enjoys taking photos, reading and watching no brainer Bravo TV shows! Christa is one of our returning design team members this year and we are so lucky to have her!
Describe yourself in 3 words … sarcastic, happy, slightly messy.
My guilty pleasure is … all things chocolate. I have never met a chocolate I don't like!
You’ll never find me without … my phone. I got an iPhone in May and well, I'm a wee bit addicted to it!
You might be surprised to know that I … have all gray hair if I grow it out. My hairstylist/colorist gets lots of money from me every 6 weeks!
My least favorite chore is … all of them?!! I hate bathrooms - all parts of it, but I love a clean bathroom. Weird, no?
I started scrapbooking in . . . 1997, but not seriously until about 2006 or so after baby #2 came along.
My favorite thing about this hobby is . . . the creative outlet. I sometimes get stumped, but usually get over it quickly and treat it as my personal journal.
If I were a Pebbles product I would be . . . dimensional stickers. Oh how I love thee!
Here's what Christa had to say about her project ... "I figured after 2 years on the team the readers know quite a bit about me so I did a personality/quirky layout instead! These are some of my favorite to do about our family. I stuck with lots of go to techniques and products on this layout to show my style, which is always evolving. I just learned to machine sew and put that on lots of layouts. I'm a rather linear scrapper, but love a good circle challenge and challenged myself on this one. I also like to de-construct and re-construct embellishments and did that with dimensional stickers here. And I'm a journaler for sure. This one doesn't have as much journaling as I normally do, but there is always, always journaling on my layouts!"

She considers her scrapbooking style "clean" with lots and lots of details and layers. Suzanne is also a returning design team member and we couldn't be happier to have her join us for another year.

My favorite thing about this hobby is . . . preserving my family's story with beautiful paper & unique embellishments.
If I were a Pebbles product I would be . . . paper! I love all the bold patterns, and love each color palette released! Pebbles paper is full of color and personality!
Here's what Suzanne had to say about her project ... "One of my favorite items to create for the holidays are home decor projects. There is nothing better than personalizing your home with special items that were made with love. I decided to alter four 3x3 blocks using the new Christmas collection, called Welcome Christmas. A few pieces of 3x3 paper already made these festive! I pulled in some of the layered stickers to embellish. I also finished them with fun holiday decorations. On the tops are glittered chipboard letters that spell, Noel. These will definitely be a wonderful addition to the joyous season!"

Christa - Love your layout - and that photo is so FUN - I love it! I'm glad to know we share a dislike for cleaning bathrooms. I am like you - I hate doing it, but LOVE when it is done. I feel the same way about the inside of my car.
