Whip It Up Wednesday

For today's post I challenged some of our design team members to "whip up" a project using Pebbles products in 30 minutes or less. Check out these fabulous projects that can be created in no time at all!

Design team member Stephanie Baxter created this beautiful layout in no time at all thanks to using an enlarged photo and keeping her design simple and straightforward.  Here's what Stephanie had to say ... "Using a large photo is a great way of getting a layout done in under 30 minutes because it means you have less of the page to work on! All you really need to finish the page off is to add some strips of patterned paper, a few embellishments, a bit of journaling and a title and then you’re done! Pebbles’ Dimensional Stickers are the perfect choice for a speedy project ... they don’t need any dressing up and already have dimensional adhesive on the back to add a bit of depth to your layout.”

Design team member Samantha Sibbet also created a layout in under 30 minutes by using a previously designed layout as inspiration.  With her design already chosen adding papers and photos was a snap!  Here's what Samantha had to say ... "I have to admit, layouts usually take me about an hour to complete.  For this challenge, I looked back at a few of my favorite layouts that I did a while ago and copied the design.  I knew I already liked it, so I just used new papers and embellishments and within thirty minutes I was done!  I think I will try this method again!"

Design team member Lady Grace Belarmino created a pair of cards in just 30 minutes.  Here's what LG had to say ... "Quick projects are always a big challenge to me because I am a slow scrapbooker. I love taking my time conceptualizing and adding small details on each project. That is why you notice that every time I am assigned to create a 30 minute project, I always end up making a card. But this time I made 2 in 30mins! With the Floral Lane Collection, making cards is easy. Everything is almost ready to stick, it's just a matter of combining them together."

From leftover scraps you can punch a few circles from the Floral Lane paper line. Combine them together and the rainbow effect is beautiful. The banners were just freehand triangle cuts that I did from scraps as well.

Dimension also looks good on cards. Aside from just using your foam tapes on your layouts, use it on your cards as well to create depth and shadow.
