Guest Designer: Jennifer Moore and a GIVEAWAY!

Hi everyone! I am so excited to introduce you to this week's Guest Designer Jennifer Moore.  Jennifer was chosen as a guest designer after she posted to our Facebook Guest Designer search.  We loved her style and couldn't wait to see what she created with Pebbles products.  Let's get to know Jennifer a little better ...

Describe yourself in 3 words …witty, creative, introspective.

My guilty pleasure is … sweet tea!  I'm from the south ... sweet tea runs in our veins! ha!

You’ll never find me without … I'm never in public without my makeup on!  At home, that's another story ... but if I'm in public, I will have my face on for sure.  You're welcome.

You might be surprised to know that I … was a pretty darn good flute player in high school.  I was first chair all through school and even got to play a flute solo and a piccolo solo on the Grand Ole Opry stage in Nashville during concert season. Sadly, I haven't picked up my flute since I graduated.  Also, I type super fast.  I have been a Medical Transcriptionist for almost 12 years now, so typing is pretty much second nature to me. ;)

My least favorite chore is … dusting, definitely!  I'm allergic to dust, and when I try to dust my furniture, it stirs up my allergies and makes me feel awful.  Ugh.  I'd rather scrub toilets than dust!

I started scrapbooking in ... around 2001.  I had a band "scrapbook" (total band nerd) that I did during the late 90s when I was in high school, but it wasn't anything to brag about, and it definitely wasn't acid free!  My first "real" scrapbook was started in 2001, and then I became officially "hooked" in 2002 after I had my first son.

My favorite thing about this hobby is ... sniffing paper.  No, just kidding ... sort of.  I love the fact that I am documenting history and telling my story and my family's story.  I love that my children remember so many things because of their pages in their scrapbooks.  They love looking through their books and looking at pictures and reading the journaling.  Watching them reminisce about things that I have documented really makes me thankful that I have this hobby.  Plus, I just really love to play with fun papers and products!

If I were a Pebbles product I would be ... the metal flowers in The Mr. & Mrs. collection ... those are SO cool!!!

Jennifer created so many amazing projects for us today including this one about her son.  I love the way she used Floral Lane on a boy layout.  Here's what Jennifer had to say ... "I took this photo of my oldest son a couple of years ago.  When I saw the "Follow Your Dreams" sticker, I immediately knew I wanted to use this photo.  I then used my favorite scripture and printed it out on the computer for my journaling below the photo.  I thought it fit the dreams/hope theme of the page and photo very well.  Can I just say ... the texture of Pebbles patterned papers is the BEST!  I love the quality and thickness of the papers!  This color combo is one of my favorites right now.  Who says you can't use floral papers and embellishments on a boy page? ;)"

Pebbles supplies used:
Floral Lane My Darling (751126)
Floral Lane A Little Hello (751118)
Floral Lane You're Sweet (751121)
Floral Lane Smile Everyday (751123)
Floral Lane Dimensional Phrase Stickers (732054)
Floral Lane Dimensional Icon Stickers (732056)
Ever After Little Princess (751107)

Ever After ABC Stickers (732046)

Other supplies used:
Cardstock (American Crafts)
Ink

Here's what Jennifer had to say about her next project ... "When I first opened my box of goodies from Pebbles, all I saw was PINK! And LOTS of it! LOL  Not that I don't LOVE pink but I have 2 little boys.  So ... I decided to embrace my inner girly girl and just go with it!  This was such a fun project for me.  I found a wooden princess wall hanging at Hobby Lobby (40% off woo hoo!) and altered it with the Ever After papers and embellishments using Mod Podge.  Finally getting to scrap with super girly products was quite a change from my usual scrapping, but I loved it!  Now, my youngest son wasn't too happy with me whenever I hung this on his wall to photograph it, but I assured him I'd take it down as soon as my photos were snapped. LOL  The little felt embellishments are SOOO cute!  I also love the pink jewel candy dots I was able to use to "bling" up the crown."

Pebbles supplies used:
Ever After Little Princess (751107)
Ever After Fairy Tale (751104)
Ever After Glass Slipper (751109)
Ever After Magical Forest (751110)

Ever After Dimensional Icon Stickers (732049)
Ever After Jewel Candy Dots (747103)

Other supplies used:

Wooden Sign (Hobby Lobby)
Mod Podge (Plaid)

I love the title of this next layout from Jennifer.  Even more I love the way she used both the Floral Lane and Ever After collection to document her fun scrappy vacation with friends.  Here's what Jennifer had to say ... "For the past 2 years, my online scrappy friends and I get together for a little mini vacation.  Last year, we all met up in Chicago.  Chicago's nickname is "Chi-town", so my husband made us these adorable shirts that said, "Chicks in Chi-town."  The hot pink in these papers and embellishments matched our shirts so well, so I knew this was my picture for this page. :)  The fonts of the letter stickers is so cool and ultra hip.  I decided to dot my "I's" with bling instead of the alpha sticker dots.  The layered embellishments and the border strip made putting this page together super quick and easy!"

Pebbles supplies used:
Floral Lane My Darling (751126)
Floral Lane You're Sweet (751121)
Floral Lane Just Because (751116)
Floral Lane With Delight (751124)

Floral Lane Dimensional Phrases (732054)
Floral Lane Dimensional Icons (732056)
Floral Lane ABC Stickers (732053)
Ever After Border Stickers (732048)
Ever After Buttons (747097)

Ever After ABC Stickers (732046)
Ever After Jewel Candy Dots (747103)

Other supplies used:
Cardstock (American Crafts)

And last but certainly not least here's what Jennifer had to say about her final project ... "I can't tell you how much I LOVE the color combo of the Floral Lane collection!  That bright teal blue is GORGEOUS, and the shade of green is one of my favorites. :)  I literally made this little card in about 10 minutes.  All of the embellishments are so well coordinated with the papers, so everything just fits together so easily!  And how fun are those little stick pins?!"
