Theme: Summer Fun

Happy Monday everyone!  I hope you all had a wonderful Father's Day weekend!  With the "official" first day of summer tomorrow it seems only fitting that our theme this week is "Summer Fun."  I've asked some of our Pebbles design team members to create projects all about how they have fun in the summer! 

Design team member Stephanie Baxter created this gorgeous layout using lots of goodies from our new Floral Lane collection.  Here's what Stephanie had to say ... "I absolutely love summer ... the smell of suncream and freshly cut grass, the long and sunny days, the BBQs, trips to the beach, sunbathing in the back garden, wearing flip-flops everyday - it’s just the best! So, as you can imagine, I was thrilled when I got my assignment for this week’s blog theme. Not only did I incorporate summer as the subject of my layout, I also tried to bring a bit of summer into the colour scheme that I used. The Floral Lane collection is particularly good for that - the colour palette just screams “SUMMER!” to me! I mixed a bit of Happy Go Lucky and Ever After as well, and decided on a yellow title to give the ultimate summery feel to my page.”

Design team member Eva Pizarro created this layout complete with a ribbon sun for this week's theme.  Here's what Eva had to say ... "When I saw this week's assignment I knew I wanted to use bright colors so I decided to use the fabulous Pebbles Ribbon to add lots of yellow! I sewed the ribbon in a circle to create the sun and hand cut the blue papers and glittered cardstock to create the waves."
