Guest Designer: Amy Heller plus a GIVEAWAY!

Hi everyone! I am so excited to introduce you to this week's Guest Designer Amy Heller.  Let's get to know Amy a little better ...

Describe yourself in 3 words ... Driven, Creative, Loving.

My guilty pleasure is ... I have several, but these are my favorites: my sweet tooth craves dark chocolate covered dried strawberries; I'm a reality talent-based tv show junkie - faves are American Idol, Project Runway, Top Chef; but probably my most guilt pleasure is the I am a Twi-hard! I am on Team Edward, and my husband is fully aware the he's the second man in my life next to Edward! :)

You'll never find me without ... having had a Starbucks Iced Latte or two in the morning, or wearing flip-flops when the weather's nice. I'm a casual girl! ;)

You might be surprised to know I ... have to wear a nite guard at night to prevent myself from grinding my teeth down to stubs.  I've ground through 2 dentist-made guards already and am on my third now! LOL

My least favorite chore is ... dusting! I have dust allergies so that task is less than desirable for me! ;)

I started scrapbooking in ... 2004, but it became a true hobby/passion in 2008.

My favorite thing about this hobby is ... that I am leaving a legacy for my children with my personal  touch and love poured into every page.

If I were a Pebbles product I would be ... the Layered Embellishments! Completely adorable and they add so much fun to a page!

Amy created so many amazing projects for us including this stunning layout about her daughter.  Here's what Amy had to say ... "I knew when I saw this lovely black and white paper in The Mr. & Mrs. collection that I would use a theme of the "black and white" thoughts of my kids as my inspiration. I've had this reflective photo of my daughter for over a year and have loved it but never knew what to do with it until now. My husband was discussing something with my then 7 year old, and I could just see how contemplative she was about about the discussion. She was learning a lesson in the grey areas, or rather the colorful aspects of life. I decided to create layered flowers out of the beautiful black and white patterned papers, then use the gorgeous array of colorful cardstock I received to bring the "life" to my layout by cutting out lively butterflies to symbolize all the shades/shapes that are the in-between the black and white poles of her thoughts."

Pebbles supplies used:
The Mr. & Mrs. Wedding Floral (751092)
The Mr. & Mrs. Silver Lace (751098)
The Mr. & Mrs. Wedding Dress (751094)
The Mr. & Mrs. Tuxedo (751097)
The Mr. & Mrs. Black ABC Stickers (732039)
The Mr. & Mrs. Silver ABC Stickers (732040)
The Mr. & Mrs. Rose Brads (747089)
Happy Go Lucky Buttons (747069)
Yellow Button Candy Dots

Other supplies used:
Cardstock (American Crafts)

Here's what Amy had to say about her next project ... "Recently I was able to capture these fun photos of my daughter blowing bubbles outside on a late spring day. They were the perfect images to use with the papers in the Happy Go Lucky collection. I just love the fresh colors in this collection! Right up my alley, for sure! I decided to reinforce the idea of the bubbles by punching out many, many circles in varying sizes then placing them randomly around the page, and stitching them where the light would be reflecting off them in the photos if they were real. For the borders at the bottom, I used the adorable extra stops of paper on the opposite sides of the UPC codes. They added the perfect touch!"

Pebbles supplies used:
Happy Go Lucky Cloud Nine (751090)
Happy Go Lucky Thrilled (751088)
Happy Go Lucky Delight (751086)
Happy Go Lucky Flower Brads (747076)

Ever After Raspberry ABC Stickers (732045)
Ever After Layered Embellishments (747099)

Other supplies used:

Cardstock (American Crafts)

This next layout is just too adorable for words and I love those photos!  Here's what Amy had to say ... "Over the last couple of years my daughter has increasingly become more and more "girly". She never was interested in princesses or dolls as a little one-her obsession has always been animals. Well, times they are a changin' and she's wanting bling, color, and vibrance with everything she wears and surrounds herself with. As you can see from these photos, even when she's at the beach she's decked out in zebra stripes, and hot pink goggles and net ... catching jellyfish! For this layout the papers and embellishments from Ever After and Happy Go Lucky were perfect. Blues for the sea and pinks for my Princess Jellyfish!"

Pebbles supplies used:
Happy Go Lucky Carefree (751083)
Happy Go Lucky Tickled Pink (751084)
Happy Go Lucky Toothpick Flags 747067)
Happy Go Lucky Flower Brads (747076
Happy Go Lucky Epoxy Brads (747078)

Ever After Raspberry ABC Stickers (732045)
Ever After Phrases Dimensional Stickers (732047)
Ever After Layered Embellishments (747099)
Ever After Raspberry Candy Dots (747103)

Other supplies used:

Cardstock (American Crafts)

For her final project Amy created this adorable "hugs" card.  Here's what Amy had to say ... "I love making cards. I never knew I loved making cards until I discovered card challenge blogs in 2009. That's when decided to start my blog and stretch my skills into card making as a way to expand my love of scrapbooking into something I could give away to others. The fun, fresh colors and designs in the Ever After collection are ideal for card making as well as scrapbooking. When I made this card I thought it could easily be taken into the direction of Valentines Day, but with the addition of the green it really makes for an ideal anytime card as well, because hugs are great year-round! ;)"

Thank you so much Amy for creating so many amazing projects with Pebbles!  And now for a GIVEAWAY!  To enter simply leave a comment on this blog post telling us which of Amy's projects was your favorite (I know, I know ... it's hard to pick just one!).  One lucky winner will be chosen at random to win a prize pack full of Pebbles goodies.  Submit your comments by Monday at midnight (EST).  I'll announce the winner Tuesday morning.  Good luck!
