For today's post I challenged some of our design team members to "whip up" a project using Pebbles products in 30 minutes or less. Check out these fabulous projects that can be created in no time at all!
Design team member Lisa Kisch has seriously outdone herself with this week's theme by creating not one but two layouts and sharing some of her tips and tricks for getting things done in a jiffy. Here's what Lisa had to say ... "We all live busy lives, so finding ways to whip up a page when we have a window of scrap time is really important. For me, I stick to a few rules when I am scrapping in a hurry: 1) I use 4X6 photos - preferably ones that I already have on hand; 2) I pull three sheets of paper from the same collection so that I know they will all go together - one stripe, one small pattern, and one large pattern; 3) I try to pull a few embellishments that I can easily repeat in triangles around my layout; 4) I hand journal. I love printed journaling, of course, but handwriting is quick and personal. I know my kids will love seeing my handwriting on my layouts someday!"
And here are Lisa's principles in action ... "My three 4X6 photos fit perfectly on this double 8 1/2 x 11 layout. I love putting photos a little off kilter - to me it feels like they were just tossed onto the layout, and I love that. I used three patterned papers, and as a bonus I punched the contrasting strip at the bottom of the pink tartan to add a built in border. For embellishments, I used a circle theme: buttons, candy dots, circular paper clips, and a large circle felt sticker, and then I scattered them around the layout, using the intersecting white lines as a guide. Finally, I hand journaled on a piece of japanese washi tape to tell the tale of Lily starting pre-school this week - or as she calls it, 'pee-school'."

Lisa also created a second layout using scraps from her first. Here's what Lisa had to say ... "I made an even quicker layout from the scraps! This seriously took about 8 minutes start to finish. I grabbed a very old photo, from my bridal shower 8 years ago, and used the paper scraps and embellishment packs I already had open to throw this together. I think this is a great way to scrap older photos of yourself, because if you're anything like me, they are the last on the priority list to be scrapped!"

Design team member Kim Kesti created this adorable princess layout in no time at all! Here's what Kim had to say ... "Although this layout looks like it might have taken awhile, by using a simple blocking method it was really easy to create. I started by adhering my two photos, and then simply trimmed blocks of patterned paper to fill in the blanks. By using both sides of the patterned paper, a lot of my blocks were already close to the correct size. Then, I stitched down several of the larger seams. Look closer, I didn’t actually stitch every seam either, and you can’t even tell at first glance. A few layered embellishments and this page was in the album. Sweet!"

Design team member Anna Sigga created this adorably sweet layout in under 30 minutes! Here's what Anna had to say ... "I really love the bright colors in the Happy Go Lucky collection and the varnish papers are my fave. These papers remind me of fun times and childhood play so I though this collection would be perfect for my lil girls. These everyday pics of my two girls were just perfect with the collections. And by using black & white photos and keeping the design rather simple I was able to go a bit color-crazy. :D "

Wow. I try to be a fast scrapper but don't know how much I could get done in 30 minutes. Maybe if the kids were busy doing something else I could get a page done! Great work, ladies- I am impressed!!
That's amazing!! It would take me 30mins to pull the product (with my 22month old tugging at my leg). Fabulous job ladies :O)
