Happy Go Lucky Week

Happy Monday everyone!  This week on the Pebbles blog we will be celebrating the arrival of Spring with our everyday line Happy Go Lucky recently released at CHA Winter 2011.  Full of bright, vivid colors and stripes, flower and birds, the Happy Go Lucky collection will have you skipping, jumping and singing to its carefree tune.

And now onto some design team projects.  Design team member Laura Vegas created this adorably sweet layout about her daughter.  Here's what Laura had to say ... "I have to say this. No offense to the other awesome Pebbles collections, but the Happy Go Lucky collection has to be my favorite of all time. The colors are gorgeous, and the papers are full of great patterns that I can see myself using over and over again. This collection just makes me happy! I dug out some older photos of my daughter, Alyssa, that I had never really gotten around to scrapping. The colors in the photos went perfectly with the colors in this collection. I added some thin strips of scalloped edged black cardstock, to tie in with the black letter stickers. I love how the black really makes the colors pop off the page."

Design team member Wendy Sue Anderson created this cheerful layout about what makes her happy.  Here's what Wendy had to say ... "I don’t think the designers at Pebbles, Inc. could have come up with a better name for this new line, Happy Go Lucky.  Honestly, the colors and designs are the absolute epitome of happy!  I can’t even look at these products without smiling – I love love love this line!  I decided my first project with this happy line should be about something that makes me happy…of course, my kiddos!!  I used a lot of the papers on this layout, and I love that they compliment each other so well that it doesn’t seem overwhelming to use a lot of patterns together.  I also loved the embossed cloud stickers, but wanted to give them a bit more dimension, so I popped them up with foam adhesive.  And of course, if you look closely, you’ll find a couple of tear strips I incorporated on my page too.  Have a Happy Day! :o)"
