Theme: Gift Giving

This week on the Pebbles blog we are focusing on Gift Giving.  With the holidays upon us it is the perfect time to use that stash of paper and creative skills to whip up something crafty for friends and family.  I've asked some of our design team members to share with us some of their ideas for creating the perfect gift made with Pebbles products.

Design team member Stephanie Baxter is all set for the Christmas holiday thanks to the Tree House collection.  Here's what Stephanie had to say ... "I know I keep saying how versatile Pebbles products are, but it’s really true! You might not think at first that the collections really lend themselves to Christmas projects, but just take a look at the colours in the Tree House line ... lots of lovely red and green in there to add a festive feel to your projects ... just perfect for creating little gift tags or gift card holders, like I’ve done here. For the gift card, I added some red Glitter Dots to the chipboard tree from the Tree House collection to make it a bit more glitzy and Christmas-y and tied a red ribbon to the front of the card for that little extra something. I also made sure to staple a small piece of paper to the inside of the card in order to slip a gift card in there. The gift tag is pretty much as you see it ... just a few fab Tree House products, finished off by pleating a piece of red ribbon and sewing it down. You could whip up quite a few of these in no time!”

Design team member LG Belarmino created this stunning altered frame using the New Arrival Boy collection.  Here's what LG had to say ... "There are so many ways to save this holiday season and one of them is by altering items found in your home. For my project, I have used an old photo frame and altered it with patterned paper and embellishments from the New Arrival Boy collection. By simply using one patterned paper, I was able to cover the body of the frame with paper rolls. This technique added dimension to the original frame that I started with. The great thing about Pebbles embellishments is that the work has already been made for you. By simply placing them together, I was able to create a beautiful layering of design. This project is so easy to do and you should try it out!"
