More Holiday Cards with Wendy Sue and I plus a GIVEAWAY!

First up, I (Lynn Ghahary) created a set of holiday tags using patterned papers from the Tree House collection.  The Tree House collection has the perfect color palette for the holidays.  I used my Cricut Expression and the Winter Frolic cartridge to create fun tag shapes and images.  These tags will be the perfect addition to my holiday gifts this Christmas.

Pebbles supplies used:
Tree House View (751027)
Tree House Melody (751030)
Tree House Adventure (751032)
Tree House Bliss (751033)
Tree House Trunk (751034)
Tree House Fun (751035)
Chocolate Brown ABC Stickers (732023)

Other supplies used:
Cardstock (American Crafts)
Jewels (Me & My Big Ideas)
Punches (EK Success)
Cricut Machine and Cartridges (Provo Craft)
Baker's Twine

Design team member Wendy Sue Anderson also used the Tree House collection to create this fun and festive holiday card.  Here's what Wendy Sue had to say ... "To make the little Christmas tree on my card, I cut apart the strips from the Merriment paper and used the green, red, and brown patterns.  I cut various lengths and arranged them from smallest (on top) to longest (on bottom).  I didn’t take too much time making everything perfect – I kind of like that it’s a little wonky.  I added Candy Dots to act as ornaments ... and what’s a Christmas Tree without a star on top (even a beautiful yellow flower)?  To create the sentiment, I placed the large stickers down, then added “to you” by using letters from the “thank you” sentiment sheet.  And of course, I had to use lots of foam dots to add dimension!"

Pebbles supplies used:
Tree House Merriment (751028)
Tree House Club (751026)
Tree House Trunk (751034)
Red Candy Dots (744228)
Tree House Paper Flowers (741002)
Chirpy ABC Stickers (732008)
Duplicate Rub Ons, Thank You – White (760206)
Earth Tones Chalk (742127)

Other supplies used:
Cardstock (American Crafts)

Dimensional Adhesive (American Crafts)
Punch (Emagination)

Love the tags and the card. I create my own cards for Christmas. May even create some tags this year.

I love these beautiful creations! You proved me that you can also use non-Christmas themed papers to make a Christmas card with. I do create my own cards every year. It's a lot of work, but these handmade cards are always truly appreciated:)

I usually try to create Christmas cards thoughout the year so that by the time the holidays arrives I'm not madly trying to get more done.

I don't generally make my own tags....not enough hours in the day and they just get thrown out anyways.

Heather said...

I love that tree card and the tags are cute too! I am making my Christmas cards for the first time this year! I have been making tags for a couple years. Thanks for the chance to win!!
