More Gift Giving Projects with Jennifer and Melinda

Design team member Jennifer Yates created a handmade ornament and gift box.  Here's what Jennifer had to say ... "I love to create handmade gifts during the holidays!  I found this chipboard gift box at my local Hobby Lobby and using a variety of Pebbles papers and embellishments, I created a fun keepsake box topped with a handmade ornament for the tree!  This would be a perfect gift idea for a ornament exchange party, teacher or for a special friend."

Design team member Melinda Spinks created this colorful pillow box to hold goodies for a gift.  Here's what Melinda had to say ... "I can honestly relate to the name 'silly season' to describe the lead-up to Christmas. There seems to be so much going on, especially as I live on a farm and we are also in the middle of harvesting which adds to the craziness. My calendar is full of functions between now and Christmas and there seem to be so many gifts that need to be given in all directions for school teachers, kinder teachers, family, friends to say "thank you" for everything they've done during the year. So I decided that I needed a small gift that could be reproduced quickly with versatility to change it around for different occasions and different people ... the trusty pillow box filled with treats was the perfect solution. And to make it even more fun, I decided to use really thick clear acetate so that you can see what's inside. Now, I have acetate templates all over my table, bags of chocolates and lollies scattered everywhere ... almost looks like Santa's workshop minus the elves!"
